I've been fighting that damn pizza elemental for ages now, and I still can't beat him. Last time I was close, but alas, too weary to continue. I watched the fight on youtube for a few hints, but still can't seem to get it right.

1. I keep running out of stamina. I try to avoid this by going out of his reach and resting as much as I can. This takes some time, as I have to keep dodging pizzas. Also, I need to go close to stay out of reach of his "tongue", as I can only be "eaten" once before I die. Any easier ways to save/gain stamina?

2. What's the best attack? I think the most stamina-saving is ducking while he swings, then doing the upwards slice. But everytime he attacks, my hero jumps back instead of ducking. This allows me to do the leaping lunge, but it uses a whole lot more stamina than ducking.

3. Everytime I get him below ½ health, he summons a pizza and eats it! The first time he does this, he gains full health. The 2nd time, he doesn't. So, has he got a set amount of hp after all? Or am I on a timer here?

4. Is there any way to avoid the tentacles, other than simply staying out of their reach? I noticed they drain my health super-quickly.

Any help would be appreciated :)

No. The only way to regain stamina is to stay out of melee range and avoid being "crushted".

Try to get the timing down to duck his attacks. Then, either do a rising slash, a stab or both if you're feeling bold. The rising slash is slightly more tiring than the stab, but you can't beat its recovery time.

Give him indigestion. Don't avoid his tongue. Let him snatch you. Do be sure to avoid being digested though. You don't want to spend any more time "in there" than necessary.

Walk backwards out of their reach. That's the only way to prevent them from scooping you up.

Well, nothing for it but to let the fight take its time, I see :\

Hmmm, I sure would like to duck rather than jump, but since both actions are done with keypad 2, it's hard to see how I can choose? Is it about timing my defense? Will the hero duck, if I wait till the last instant? Any other way?

But last time he ate me, I died, even though my health was only halfway down. Should I use the attack buttons while I'm in there to prevent him digesting me?

If you press back too early, you'll jump back. If you press back at the right moment, you'll duck. As for the rest of the questions, just follow your own advice. :)

Hey, thanks, Erpy. This online-support is great. I have NEVER experienced customer service like this before. And I didn't even pay anything :)

I'll get back to that culinary villain...

EDIT: Well, after seeing what you did with QfG II, I did buy the lost dutchman's mine, simply out of trust in your game making abilities. Haven't had time to try it, though, as I'm still in the snares of QfG II :)
