Can't find the stupid caged beast on day 12.
Just got done with the dervish, can't find the stupid caged beast! Getting really frustrated with this remake! Wish someone would have made the desert alot easier instead of being as hard as it is!

Maybe you didn't ask the five questions to the dervish, or you did not listen to him.

Use your compass to distinguish north and south in the desert. According to the dervish, the beast is 5 screens to the west of Shapeir and 2 screens north of "here". (the oasis) That would be 1 screen west and 3 screens south of the Griffin nest.
Really, the desert is not complex once you get used to the POV switch in the middle.
