I don't think I've seen anyelse else here say they have exact same issue I'm having with speeds, but for me the game normally runs at around 50% speed max, taking the speed over the middle point has no effect but dropping it below it slows it down.

And then in combat, the speed is always at the minimum... There is absolutely no difference between max and min speed.

I'm using 64-bit Windows 7 (Running in Windows XP Service Pack 3 compatibility)

My specs are

AMD Athlon II X2 250, a 3.0 GHz dual core
ATI Radeon HD 7850
8 GB of 1066MHz DDR3 RAM

Changing the affinity to be on one core doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Just reporting that I'm still having these issues after moving to a quadruple-core processor, so it's not just duals.

At least the youtube/video fix still works!
