I'm having just as much trouble finding mandrake root as...erm... someone else had.

About the only thing I can think of left to do is visit the oracle cuz maybe she has it, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to deal with the eagle.

It might be easier if you could get the eagle to come closer.

Most animals in adventure games tend to be interested in eating, sleeping, mating, protecting their offspring, and not getting killed.

I figured out where the root was.

it would seem that one of the things I needed to get to it, I had used elsewhere.

There's two items you can use to get the feather. One of them can't be used for any other purpose.

What is it that cant be used for any other purpose and what did i use by accident that i was supposed to do first that would basically make me Re-play the Game over again.

There's no easy way to make the game unwinnable. Just keep playing and don't worry.

The eagle is carnivorous.

The only thing there is left alive and on the ground is the Chicken or the Cat and they wont be Offered.

What do you remember being able to feed birds in the KQ series? There's a list of items that come to mind. One of those is what you'll need.

I think the game has no dead ends. Discounting bad timing issues such as saving right before the wizard appears, you should always be able to beat the game.

There is another bird having a snack elsewhere. You can *ahem* borrow its meal.

Think back to KQ4 what did you feed the Pelican to get the silver whistle?

My problem is I don't know where to find the eagle...

You see it every time you leave and return to Manannan's mansion.

I figured out the root. I knew where it had to be. Then it was just a matter of figuring out how to get an eagle feather, which wasn't that hard once I had the right item and realized he was never going to fly around like the original game. Getting into the bandit hideout on the other hand... that has me stuck at the moment.
