[SPOILER ALERT] Interesting tid and bits from other remakes

#1 Post by Bobbin Threadbare » Sat Feb 26, 2011 3:17 pm

No, I'm not talking about the other IA's KQ3 remake.

I was recently finished playing TSL episode 3. And from what I learned from the ending gave me a deep thought. Never occurred to me that the wizard has quite deep connection with the royal family, and perhaps, he's not as evil as I thought. ( kinda funny since Gwydion didn't realize that he's related... :lol )

This, compares to KQ3 Redux in terms of continuality, brings to a much brighter aspect while Redux makes the wizard totally evil.

Of course, as in animes and games such as Zelda series, there's a big chance these things wouldn't be accounted between each developers and has it's own separated stories.

But as an interesting note: I saw Eric's name on both of the game credits. It might not mean much, but there might be a slight chance that the stories from AGDI version are incorporated into TSL as well.

Well... just a random muse though... :p

KQ3 Redux follows essentially its own canon and does not connect to other groups' fan projects. For the sake of your sanity, the best thing you can do is not try to connect them into one big whole...unless you want the universe to implode upon itself.

I believe that the developers of TSL DID take into consideration the KQ2 remake. For instance, the idea that Hagatha, Manannan and Lolotte are connected and have the same master. Actually, the stories could sit well with each other, once you consider the father and Shadrack to be the same person.

The idea of Hagatha and Manannan being connected predates any fangame. Their relation was already mentioned in a quiz included with one of the KQ collections. And since the Father actually has a name, he's not quite the same guy as the Shadrack introduced in KQ6' letter.

why not... I do have my own believes that everything are connected. Reminds me of BttF eps 2 which I also finished today. :lol
And I might believe that you might try to throw the loop away. :p :lol

I still think Genesta caused Graham's heart attack. Convenient, much? ;)

I always thought that Genesta was a real bitch for tricking Rosella the way she did without giving her the whole info beforehand "my powers are fading, just say YES". Maybe it goes even further than that... :evil

Hmmm... perhaps Genesta is 'The Father'!
