Mananan did not ask for food [Spoiler]

#1 Post by TriniMage » Tue Mar 01, 2011 11:55 pm

Around 27 minutes (the timer is red) when Mannanan is asleep in his bedroom Gwydion enters and talks to him twice. He says Gwydion has too much energy and zaps him to outside the kitchen and puts Gwydion into an exercise routine after which he asks him to clean his chamber pot (Gwydion had not done any house work so far) Gwydion ignored him and wanders around the house and Mannanan reappeared around 30 mins and puts Gwydion through the exercise routine again. At about 32 mins he reappears to tell Gwydion he is going on a journey... Never asked for food.
I retried it and he hung Gwydion in the kitchen then reappears and asks Gwydion to feed the chickens. Ignored him again and he reappeared to send Gwydion to his room to spend time. But again he reappeared to inform Gwydion that he is going on a journey. This time though the clock had gone to 45 mins. Again no food request...
I think it’s only when Gwydion is hung in the kitchen that the time accelerated so quickly...

[EDIT] Unfortunately when next you go to the Behrs there is no ‘just right’ porridge waiting for Gwydion! I had hoped to get a second bowl!!!

It seems that angering Mannanan is a good way to get around having to feed him.

Interrupting his nap resets his cycle...he'll only ask for food if he wakes up naturally. He'll ask for it again after his next trip.

It may be a great way to avoid having to feed him, but the outcome is the same. If you wake him up: punishment, if you don't feed him: punishment. Besides, there's no reason not to feed him. You never run out of food to give him in this game.
