Concerning the ending

I have a question about the ending sequence, specifically the scenes with the so-called "magic green pinball." This is one of those things that could either be deliberate or a coincidence, so I have to ask...were you guys trying to invoke the Classical Elements with the four "cure" scenes?

Short answer: Yes.

First the Fire is extinguished.

Secondly, the air is cleansed.

Thirdly, the water is replenished.

Fouth, The earth is healed.

Personally, I think it's something that only a specific cutaway to the orb "doing it's thing" could convey.

I really like the KQ3R ending, it is way more complete than the classic KQ3. the classic KQ3 ending is like hanging, nobody knows what happened since the kingdom is badshape.

Somehow seeing this whole thread reminds me ALOT with the elementals in QFG2 and how the hero dealt with it.
