I cant get speech to work for pq4 through dosboz and vdmsound wont even run the exe can anyone help me with speeach
my resorce config looks like this

Use SoundBlaster or General MIDI (if available) for music and SoundBlaster for sound, rather than Microsoft Sound System (which it looks like you've selected).
Obviously, you'll also want to be sure the CD is mounted as Drive E in DOSBox, or has that drive letter for VDMSound.

still no look i can run the game with sound but still no voice ><

Try changing it anyway. It still might be the problem.
Your voices directory might be wrong. Check to guarantee that your RESOURCE.AUD file is located where the the RESOURCE.CFG file says it's located (ie in "audio = ./patches").
