The menu loads up, then the system crashes once "play" is clicked.
Systems specs on my "adventure gaming" pc are -
P2 450
Radeon VE
~384meg ram
Roland MPU IO card
Roland MT-32
SB pro 2
Directx 8.1b
I'm currently running the SB pro with a jumper disabled "joystick"(midi port). I was running an awe 64 but it was practically impossible to get QFG4 running with both sound and music.
Basically I'm asking if the issue is because a sb pro 2 can't handle the require sound bits, the midi output on the card is disabled or is it an issue of the sounds being processed through the roland MPU io card?
While it should be possible to fix this problem by replacing the sound card with the awe64 and removing the io card, I'd prefer a neater solution
KQ1,KQ2 ect crash. Presumed sound card / MT-32 issue
