Aziza "shall we share tea" problem

After Aziza's question "shall we share tea?" I tell her "yes", but she answers "I believe I asked you a question, young man"

I tried different answers like "of course", "surely" and "no"
I tried to buy tea servers at fountain plaza, but seller offered me to buy brass lamp instead.
Ok, I switched to text parser dialog mode, but result was the same - Aziza kicked me out.

After Aziza's question "shall we share tea?", click the mouth icon on yourself to open up the "answer/tell" menu. Choose "Anwer yes" if you want tea, "Answer no" if you don't want tea.

This confused me, an adventure game player unfamiliar with the "answer/tell" technique, as well when I first played this remake.

Schrijvertje, thanks!

I think it should be outlined that you can click talk on your hero!
Thanks!

Apparently it is, in the manual.

I was reprimanded for not reading manuals myself not that long ago. Afterwards, I didn't even read the manual to check whether it's really in there :lol

For people who played QFG3 and QFG4, clicking talk on yourself was probably a second nature, but yeah, it IS mentioned in the manual. I suppose, in Sierra's fashion, we could have added a copy-protection in order to force players to read the manual but in the end we decided against it. :p

I kinda miss those old LucasArts copy protections; those dials of the first two Monkey Island games, aligning the stones with "Fate of Atlantis", etc. In fact, I still have them, but can't use them anymore because my original game disks have failed.

Those were some creative ways to go about it, nothing like "please enter word 3 of line 8 on page 10".

Actually, I'd read all manuals and FACS before playing =)
How couldn't I notice this talk option I don't know.
It's like "we see just what we expect to see" =)

..but may be you should take error input of "asking" and check if it's valid input for "telling" in game code? Then you can explain player about ask/tell system.
