ok guys when i go to get the death gem i follow the directions on the bible page exactly and nothing happens

1) The first swamp screen (where you can only go south to proceed or west to leave the swamp) already counts. So the verse always starts with an S-word.
2) Follow the directions to the letter, even if it means going west, then immediately east again.
3) After you've followed the directions, you'll still be in the swamp, but the castle is visible faintly to the north. So go north.
