Hello, I'm trying to run the Quest for glory 2 remake but everytime I load the game and after the disclaimer an error message pops up saying
"an exception 0xC0000005 occured in ACWIN.EXE at EIP=0x00404819; program pointer is +1004, ACI version 2.72.920,gtags (35,20)
AGS cannot continue, this exception was fatal. Please note the numbers above, remmember what you were doing and contact Notify CJ on the tech forum. in room script (line 50)"
please help with this problem because I really want to play this game thank you.

0xC0000005 exception errors are usually the result of a 3rd party driver that has been installed on your system, (such as if you recently upgraded your video or sound card drivers) and something may not have installed properly.
I would suggest downloading and installing the latest version of DirectX and making sure you also have the latest version of your video and sound card drivers installed from the manufacturer's website.
Here are some other posts from people on our Himalaya Studios technical forums who have experienced this bug in the past in AGS games and how they managed to resolve it. If installing DirectX and your hardware's latest drivers doesn't help, then these suggestions might be of further assistance:
