problem with king quest 1 saving problem

I cant save in King quest VGA 1 I dont know why
I type the name of the save I click Save but when I go to the restore options no save file appear
I dont know what to do and I wanna play this game

It might also help if you right-click on the kq1vga.exe file and select "Run as Administrator".

A slightly updated version will be released soon, which will address this.

If your Windows log-on username or the folder where the game is installed contains any non-ASCII characters (ie. Cyrillic, Hebrew etc.) then this problem can also occur. This will also be addressed in the updated version of the games.

No word yet on the release, as this will depend when AGS3.2 is deemed final.
