I have Windows 7, and when I try to run King's Quest III Redux full-screen, it does the loading page and then a blank screen. If I Alt Tab to something else, then back, I can occasionally get the menu screen to show up... but the mouse doesn't work.
Do I need to change some settings to make it work?

Try running winsetup.exe and changing to the Direct3D driver. It may help. Also ensure that you have the latest DirectX version installed, as well as the latest video card drivers.
Also, check if running the game in windowed mode works (from winsetup.exe). A lot of the time, tweaking the visual and graphics settings will allow you to find a way around problems like this.
It might also be getting hung-up on the AGDI logo movie. When the screen goes blank, try holding down the Escape key for a bit.
