Problems with Starting all three KQ remakes.

I am trying to run all three kings quest remakes on a macbook pro with os 10.7.5.
I downloaded, opened the .dmg files, and copied the games to the applications folder. After that i restarted my computer. When i double click any of the application icons, the icon pops up in my toolbar like the game is loading, my cursor even turns into a cross like the cursor in the game, but immediately afterward the game stops loading and disappears off my toolbar where it shows active applications. What the heck is going on??
