KQ1 VGA no video appears

Music works but just get black screen, no video. Running Windows XP.

check that your directx version is up to date

Start > Run

type: "dxdiag"

(excluding quotes)

to chck your current version. The newest version available is 9.

If problems persitst the program may have dad errors downloading thoguh this is unlikely due to of if the installation rutine went without error.

You may also want to try selecting the force letterbox resolution in the setup.

I dunno about that. I originally ran KQ1 and 2 under a Virtual PC running Win95 and 2 ran PERFECTLY. 1 was a bit slow though.

My current problem with 1 is that it won't let me save any new games, only overwrite the two I brought over.
