#1 Post by Keapon Laffin » Thu Jun 09, 2005 5:28 pm

Hello all, i am trying to find a program to rip sprites and such out of the games that i have on CD, anyone have a program in which i can do that? an AGD program is preferred over SCI.

Thanks :)

Well, I don't know of any that can rip them off of CDs.
What game are you trying to rip from?
If it's a LucasArts game, you might want to try the SCUMM engine
If it's Sierra, try TraduSCI, which comes with a tool called an extractor, along with everything you need to view the files.

No such thing, really.  There's only a few programs, and they aren't very good.

It all has to be done manually, with Prtscrn or a screen capture software.

Or you can check out and see if whats-his-name has finally finished his VGA Sci Studio. Otherwise as BT said, PRNTSCREEN and Paint.
