Artist for Rent!
And by rent, I mean free. I'm an artistic type student, looking for a good game in need of artists. I've looked around at websites, but a lot of them are out of date, so who knows if they still need someone? I'd like to offer my services to a good project in need of an artist. Here are some sketches I did, the first three specifically for this thread, the last two just random Star Wars pictures. 'Sketch' means 5-20 minutes to draw, and obviously not finished product.
If you have a project that seems promising, I'll gladly produce a piece of color art for you as a real example. I can also do backgrounds (well, I do set design, which leads me to believe I could do backgrounds for an adventure game. ;) )
Onto the pictures!
Cyberpunk-ish Chick
Happy Dude
Creepy Crone
Twi'lek!
Space Pirate!
I'm not the greatest, but I'll try! More importantly, I love adventure games. Thanks for looking.

It should be as simple as drawing each character animation frame and then scaling it down after coloring it. Either way, your artwork is impressive! If I was working on a game I'd hire you for close-ups or talking character animations....but...I'm not....so I can't . Can't wait to play the game you'll be making art for, though!
I'm intrigued to see a background/landscape scene that you'd make. Any chance of whipping one up?

Gah, so many PMs! Sorry, I got distracted, a little by a new project at work, but mostly by The Movies, which is a very fun game. I drew up a background, and I'll try to get it scanned in today. Someone asked about coloring, so here is a little sample. Just a section of the picture, the full thing is a couple of Renaissance-era con artists gloating over their loot. I'm not always keen on outlining, but the clean, sort of 'popping out' cartoon style seemed nice for these two characters, so I ran with it. When she's done, there will be a hand and background and fancy necklace she's showing off.
I love big lips. <3
