Dumb Quest I- Quest for the Town

Dumb Quest I-Quest for the Town
This is an original game by Dogma Day Games. It's basically a spin-off of the King's Quest series, and yes, there are many references to the Sierra universe.
THE STORY:
All is not well in the land of Alphredtry. The kingdom lost a major war with it's Southern enemy, Anaface. Alpredtry is extremely poor. The Kingdom's treasury is nearly empty, and there are no knights.
Meet Bob. He is a bartender, and the hero of our story. The game begins when Bob gets a letter from Anaface telling him he hasn't paid his taxes, and they will be taking his bar. Bob decides he needs to make money.
So he becomes knighted, and is renamed Sir Robert Tavern. He has to fix up the crappy town, and get 3 items. He must get the diamond from the biggest tree in Butt-Crack Forest, the Sword from the king of Anaface, and a pizza to feed Alphredtry's overweight lazy king.
Robert will make many allies, and he will travel to many random places and face extreme peril.

Now, how about some screenshots?

Amazing, you get to pick things up in this game!

A quit system similar to the good old King's Quest games!

Meet weird, quirky characters like the Random Stuff stand guy!

Go to unique places, battle wicked enemies, and do idiotic side quests!

PROGRESS:
Initial progress so far has been extremely slow.
Backgrounds- 15%
Sprites- 10%
Cutscenes- 0%
Dialogue portraits- 6%
storyline- 95%
scripting- 30%

We are desperately in need of background artists and sprite artists.

Sounds interesting. I would like to see what comes of it  ;)
If you need any help in scripting/programming, I'm free to help!
