extracting sprites

#1 Post by pheeph » Thu Apr 09, 2009 5:13 am

I've been trying to find ways to extract sprites from old Sierra adventure games. These are the EGA-type games with the text and mouse input. What I'm trying to do is find a certain sprite so I can create a character that is modeled after that sprite, just a different appearance. If any method or program of sorts exist, they tend to be very elusive.

Use SCI Studio VGA or SCI Viewer.

I can't find SCI Viewer. The web page that had it no longer exists.

Also, when I tried to use SCI Studio to access the resource files, it gave me an "access violation" error and rendered the view files blank.
