:o
Heheheh...guess I ought to get my fighter to the hero ceremony at the end of the game. :P I need to get MoSlo or something so I can get through Me's Room at the end. I haven't seen the end of the game in a *long* time. I guess that means that Toro only gets knocked out by the fighter?

I see that they are remaking the QG 1 2 3 4 games with stuff that could not go into the original games. http://www.qfg3d.com/features.php

Is it true that the Coles could not put some of those into the original games.

Now that Tierra is remaking QFG2VGA, will you put the extra things menchioned on that site into the game.

Well, most features listed on that page were never intended by the Coles to be added, except probably the goblin hideout in QFG1 and the saurus repair shop in QFG2. That said, the saurus repair shop will be in QFG2VGA, but about the other features...it's debatable whether adding them is a good idea to begin with.

Stop it, will you!
We've read your question. Moving it to its own post isn't going to make us want to answer it any more!

And by the way, KQ2VGA hasn't got a remake. It is a remake.

www.hero6.com I keep reading that this is not a Quest For Glory 6 game, nore does it have anything to do with QG series. If that's true, is it just another fan game.

I wonder if theres a site that is making a QFG6 game.

It's not QfG6. It won't have the same characters or the same setting.

What it will have is the QfG feel.

I don't know of any active QfG6 project. I think this is a good thing.

Thanks, but they already know about it. In fact, I was the one who made a post about it in the Off-Topic forum, which later moved to the General forum.

I just want to see it. :p

The www.qfg3d.com say they will not make a QFG5 remake, i wonder if there is a site that will do a remake.

I read that Quest For Glory 5 was a little dissapointing, what do you think could've been added or changed. I know i can think of a few.

Personally, some of this remake suggestion appalls me. It'd be like going back to some movie like Casablanca, remaking it but changing things....... something's are not meant to be messed with, much less without permission.

This project is intriguing, but I hate to be a pessimist. It should take a DECADE to redo all thjree. I don't understand why they don't just say they're working on one. You know... to start with.

Thepal, those pics look promising. Now you make me want to buy morrowind. Good luck on the game.

This looks quite good, Thepal. Perhaps you should give lessons to the QFG3D staff? :lol

Too busy. Along with the QfG project I have two other huge Morrowind projects (which is why QfG progress has been going slowly). One is an Ultima 9 remake, which will probably end up being bigger and more complex than the original Morrowind game, and the other is a patch that fixes pretty much all the bugs in Morrowind (which there are a thousands of).

The QfG project is tiny compared to them. In fact, QfG1 is has been almost finished for a year :P I just got side-tracked

So I assume that this will be a "total conversion mod" and not just a QFG island somewhere off the coast of Vvardenfell that anyone playing the main quest can visit. Did you create new character models and textures as well?

What sort of bugs? I've had Morrowind for 4-5 months now and haven't noticed anything too bad. Sure, there are minor annoyances, like the NPCs all reading from the same script, but I've only occasionally been forced to quit and restart because of a technical problem.

Download the current version of the Unofficial Morrowind Patch and take a look at the lists of fixes. That's what bugs (plus there will be hundreds more fixes in the next version).

And yes, it's a TC. And I'm mainly using Morrowind models and textures. For characters I'll be using various new head models that are around the place. No point making my own when there are plenty already made to use. I probably won't be putting new bodies into it, but if I do I'll be using Better Bodies.

Thepal do you believe that will finish the project some time in the future ?
I hope you will do it, because it is of high quality work from what i saw.

Have you finished all backgrounds ?
How is the scenical representation? I mean the player moves in the static 3d scene or as the player moves around the optical angle/position of the camera changes dynamically?

Morrowind is a first-person 3D game. You can also use a third-person mode with the camera just behind the character. So you basically see out of the hero's eyes and can move around freely (no static screens like in QfG games).

It still feels like Quest for Glory though. It's amazing how you can play something that looks completely different and still feel like you're playing the original game.

Anyway, since there aren't static screens there are no 'backgrounds'. But Spielburg is almost completely built. At the moment the only place I can think of that isn't done is Erasmus's foyer. All that needs to be done is dialogue and scripting some of the quests and a little bit of cleanup. Oh, and the monsters

Shapeir is pretty completed too actually, though only the actual buildings and stuff. No quests/dialogue/people yet. The city is done. The desert outside is done (including the oasis, etc). Rasier will be done easily enough (just have to copy/paste Shapeir).
