Check AGS forums Hero, someone made them. Plus templates so you could make your own game.

I agree, there is nothing wrong with making a simpsons game.

It depends on what sort of Simpsons game you're looking for, there is one which is a platform game (like Mario) and you can find it somewhere here.

A simpsons adventure game would be pretty cool. So would a Futurama one. I imagine it would be a lot like space quest.

A futurama game would be awesome, especially since they so unfairly cancelled the series. This might even be doable as a commercial game (no company would do it as an adventure game, these days, but it could still be fun and funny, like Simpsons Hit and Run)
