Brainstorm for ideas, put them together in a document so you have a general idea of what you want the game to be like. Create a "starting point" in your story and an "ending point". Write a small scene in further detail.

Download a game making utility. (like AGS) Start learning the basics of the utility. Use learned knowledge to create said small scene in the game making environment.

1. to make a game, you have to learn programming. This is the easy task. Everyone can do it.

2. Drawing...Not everyone is good, but even ignorants can draw a simple room.

3.have a good plan

4. The most critical is TIME. IF you have solved your problem of survival, by having parents paying for your expenses (and you feel
ok with your conscience)
OR
you are strong enough to have a job AND make a game during nights putting social life away, then you can do it.
I guess that high school students have an advantage in this case. They can do it, by just skipping studying homework :lol
But they will pay the consequences later....
A different category is the student of university. This is much easier to do it. They have successed and they study only before the exams.BUT
who want to sacrfice his BEST period of his life with gamemaking in his
computer? Think twice.

5.Oh and another thing : ONE project at a time ;)Do not try to remake
all the larry episodes at once please. Dyspepsia...

Calm down. It's not like he announced that he's making a game and needs artists, programmers and composers to make the game for him.
