Hi, I was curious if the palette for KQ2 was in fact 256 or if it was a Hi-Color game. It appears at first glance to be 256, but upon closer investigation, it seems it may actually be Hi-Color. I ask because I've started a game at 256 but it may not be enough colors. I did 256 because I didn't want a huge file size. But if the file size were the same as KQ2 even at Hi-Color I may not have a problem with it. I could definitely keep the colors at around 350.
Thanks in advance!
Rich

I think it's 16-bit.

It's indeed 16-bit, rather than 256 color.

Thanks, guys!!!
I appreciate it. I won't have to kick myself now if I need to switch to 16-bit color. I can handle releasing a 45mb when compressed game.
