If I can prevent some of the members here with...more outspoken opinions of Jodo to go there and set the board on fire, then I guess I could give it a try.

Why do you guys want to give them what they want, who cares about them just focus on your own project/s and dont waste time.

<Read that over in a really friendly manor> :)

I tried to reply (in a rather lengthy way), but it's likely my message rebounded or only went to one member. In order to post, you need to join a group, which requires approval from the mod and I doubt they're gonna appreciate me arming the fuse there.

I couldn't care less about who he's bragging and lying to. It's just his stories about the "injustice" that was done to him on these forums that makes me cranky.

remember when Muzlack posted an edited pic to give him an idea......

JODO: "Okay, now make the rest......."

some people just LOVE to be managers don't they ? :lol

They say that they are still working on the project. Recently Jodo
said to a girl to post a picture. I said cool, let's see a new background.
Alas it was the infamous swamp picture again, with one difference:
the moon had eyes and mouth (what the????).
It seems that currently, they are into the DETAILS of each background :lol

EDIT : the background with the detail they added!

Anyway, back on topic... I chose KQ3, because it's one of my favorite Sierra games.

The Black Cauldron!

Okay guys, you didn't expect to put my favorite story on there and not get my vote did you?

I'm the only one out of 36 people to vote for Black Cauldron?!!

I guess most of you are just accepting that it will never be remade, but it doesn't mean in our hearts we don't still want it! I think the story could be changed somewhat, perhaps make the main character older and the whole thing darker and more believable.. so that it's not a kid's game anymore? Could even change the pig to a dog or a lamb or something and oh.. nevermind.. but I really liked that game. So there's my vote.

I remember Auranoir (sp?) posting some vga backgrounds he did for black cauldron. Does anyone know if he is remaking it?

I wouldn't mind playing a BC remake either, but the kind of plot changes you're proposing would be bad. The only changes I would support would be those that make the game closer to Lloyd Alexander's original work. Perhaps a two-game split (The Book of Three and The Black Cauldron)?

Laura Bow - The Colonel's Bequest
Oh I would give anything to play a VGA / click & play, version of that game. It was an incredible story.

1. Laura Bow - The Colonel's Bequest
2. Conquest for Camelot
3. Codename - Iceman

These are the only remakes I'm interested in.
I already voted for Laura Bow, but I think Conquest for Camelot would be awsome!

I would absolutely love a remake of the second Leisure Suit Larry game, but since that option wasn't up there, I picked King's Quest 4.

i think  the colonel's bequest would benefit the most from a remake.  I loved the Laura Bow games and think a remake would be great especially if it had a parser

Police Quest 2...but I'd be happy with a remake of a Space Quest or Kings Quest game too.
