Imagaine your at high school and your in science and someone is throwing papervalls at you and your throwing back. Than the teacher gives the class different types of balls eg. golf, tennis so on. The guy your throwing paperballs at who through them at you is now very angry with you for throwing all the paperball bacxk at him after they hit you. So he picks up a golf ball and throws it at your head (hard) whcich just misses you. Do you?

I picked 4. If I counterattack, I might get caught.

I throw the tennis ball and broke his nose. For some reason the teacher did not find this as funny as the rest of the class and i got suspended for 10 days.

PS. he is a retard who no-one likes and had it coming

I don't think I'd be very happy if I was a teacher and someones nose was broken in my class. Then again, If I was a teacher, I don't think I'd be happy in the first place.

In that case, your class has a strange sense of humor, as a broken nose is a pretty nasty injury.

I'd probably pick 4, but IF I were to throw back (in which case the ball should have hit me), I probably wouldn't aim straight at his face.

Heh! Funny! :)

Why is it that everybody believe teachers' claims that they don't get paid enough? After doctors and lawyers they usually get the best salaries.

Well we are all only 14 so we pretty much laugh at anything. We do what we want while we still can. :D

The golf ball would fly back like a bumerang. Though I wouldn't throw a golf ball straight at his face, since it can do more damage than a tennis ball.. But he would still get it somewhere where he'd feel it, and feel it a lot, but wouldn't do any actual damage..

I would tell to teacher. Because i'm the " nice boy " in our class . :rolleyes

And by the way:
IF I were to throw back (in which case the ball should have hit me), I probably wouldn't aim straight at his face.
I would do the same thing.

No way. No one should ever tell the teacher anything...EVER. (Well, maybe on rare occasions)

But something trivial like this...I'd be pretty unimpressed with someone who told the teacher. I think you've got to be able to handle things like this on your own. Personally, I'd probably throw a tennis ball, and not at the face.

Actually, it's the better option from an objective point of view.

On forums, if somebody gets flamed, it's encouraged that the flamer gets reported. In fact, on many message boards where there's no direct moderation, order is kept because of the "report this post to moderator" option. Of course, rather than reporting a flamer, there's also the option of flaming back. While this may seem the more attractive option to increase one's "macho level", it can also reduce one's stay on forums.

Depending on just how much the retaliating party goes out of line, the point of "who started it" may end up becoming moot very quickly, as your suspension demonstrated. Reporting something and then getting on with one's life certainly would have been more efficient in the long run.

(p.s: how about not calling people names, btw?)

Well, given your age you should have a few years left on that school during which you'd better be on your best behavior, 'cause this period WILL be used against you if a similar situation would occur in the future.
