Favourite "poll"?

#1 Post by Charlemagne » Mon Jul 19, 2004 11:02 pm

Couldn't resist. :)

EDIT: Oops. I just realised that I spelled Lech Walesa's name wrong. Too bad I can't change anything after someone votes. :\

AGDI polls! They seem the most fun of the lot.

You should review your modern European history, Blackthorne; Lech Walesa isn't the pope. That particular Pole (poll? :)) was formerly known as Karol Jozef Wojtyla (minus the Polish diacritics).

I say a ten-foot pole, because I wouldn't touch certain things without.

Good idea, Rambaldi! I'll bear that in mind. *takes 10 ft pole and keeps it*

I think that was the most popular poll ever.

I edited your link to point to the actual poll, not the archived version. The actual poll has the results. ;)

Heh, thanks a lot. And if you also reopen it, I might even stop to torture that little voodoo-doll of you. :)

Eh, I'm afraid I don't have the power to do that. It was closed before I ever had the power to do it.

I was wondering what the back pain was about...

No, the insanity poll is more useless. At least this mentions AGDI.

I'm glad at least one person thinks so! :lol

Usually, I try to limit my posts to topics about which I have an opinion or something useful to add. This time I figured what the hell. :)

A thread with a few different options for the forum members to vote on. That's basically every thread in this folder.

Dang! When I saw my poll at the top of the list I hoped someone might have added a witty riposte or two. :)

Who's Lech Walesa? :|

Well, obviously a Pole...
but what else is he/she famous for. I guess I'm not up to speed on Polish history/popular culture/politics, or whatever the case may be.

He was the leader of Poland's Solidarity movement in the 1970s and '80s, and its president in the '90s. He also won the Nobel Peace Prize.
