AGDInteractive - Sierra Adventure Game Remakes Forum

Just a quick poll on what you, the members of AGDI use as the forum skin? Are you using the default, blue, skin? The KQ1VGA skin or the new QFG2VGA skin?

I'm using the QFG2 one at the moment. I might switch back to KQ1 though.

KQ1 sucks. I like the AGDI one and the QFG2 one which I am using now.

Navynuke worked really hard on the KQ1VGA skin, it's not very nice to bash his work now is it Reptile?

I used to use the KQ1VGA skin, but switched to QFG2VGA as soon as it came available.

In a way Im complimenting him, he out did himself with QFG2VGA that KQ1 looks really inferior.  :p  ;)

"The KQ1VGA forum theme sucks" is in no possible context a compliment, as far as I'm concerned. Your explanation above this post can be summarised by stating you're complimenting the latest theme, but still bashing the previous.

Of course, there's no need to make a compliment unless you mean it, but saying ".... sucks" is simply blatantly inconsiderate. Using more considerate wording like "I liked the QFG2VGA theme better than the KQ1VGA theme" or "I didn't care all that much for the KQ1VGA theme" can mean the difference between sounding fair and sounding like an asshat. And it only takes a few extra keystrokes.

Yeah, but that kind of laziness got people mad at you in the past, so consider wording your criticism a little more carefully in the future...it takes a few extra seconds.

I'm using the new QfG2VGA skin as well; it's quite nice as is the KQ1 one as well (heh, 1 one...)

BTW Erpy, I don't think I've ever seen you get that verbally testy before.  I think this calls for the return of the Demon Nash picture!

I'd use more the other skins if they were optomized for 1600x1200. Even if they were made like like this i think i'd probelry still end up mostly using the blue. It's very soothing

Ohhh skings for THIS! Haha. Actually, I didn't know you could change till now. I'm torn between this and the original blue. *shrugs*

Yay for skins!  I think they're all pretty awesome.  They're so much fun to browse in.  I feel like I'm in a forum when I'm using the blue skin, while I feel like I'm in AGDI's forum when I use the game-specific ones!  I think I've said this in other threads, but I LOVE the desert, which is why I choose... QFG2VGA's skin!

Hmm.. i wonder if Al Emmo's forums will look similar when they open them up.  You think there will be a big fan base over at Himalaya Studios soon?  hehe.. I'm all excited..  :D

I'm using QFG2VGA. I can't stand the blue one. It's just so depressing!

It's nice if your in a blue mood, though. I liked it when it was first changed, but now I'm tired of it. I like the KQ1 theme a lot (great work, Navynuke! Still need a KQ2VGA theme!), but there's a little too much going on. QFG2VGA is ideal for me right now........

....that is until they get the old forest green theme going again. I'd almost pay money to get that back.

Still rockin the blue theme over here.
