Sorry I haven't taken the time to open this thread until now. I just read through the whole thing. I'm so late but

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

You probably took the best choice, just don't let it interfere with your guys' education. Continue through school. I've heard so many stories of people who had babies, and it messed their lives up because they couldn't stay in school. If you make it a priority, I am sure you will be able to overcome the financial struggles and make it through to the other side.

I am sorry that I don't come here enough as I miss out on information like this, and I miss out on the community interaction.

Great job guys.

If love were beer, we'd be drunk.

The room is now complete!!!!!

I'll have to take a pic of the whole room as we have a new carpet down now, and there will be Disney pictures and the wall and stuff :D

Here is the corner of the room to show you what the wall is like.

Here is a special gift to Vamp and Angelus. BTW I did not paint this I only found this and I know you love unicorns and just enjoy the gift. Print it out to put it on the baby room wall or something. ;)

The happy unicorn couple and little miracle.

Aww thanks guys especially you Fribbi that was such a nice picture!!

I will definetly print it off and put it in the baby's room! :D

The room looks alot better in real life and the colours are more vibrant as the flash seemed to dull them.

But thanks again ;)

Sorry, Steff. They're already going to name it Kurt. *shrug* Whaddaya gonna do?? :p

The room (corner) looks great, Vamp. Heh, it's really interesting that this should come up again since I just finished up taking a final in Anthropology that had a whole section on how gender roles are ingrained into our society, starting with the decoration of the baby's room. Interesting stuff, really.

The Mid wife came round today and took 5 tubes of blood from me, god it hurt.

I got to hear the babies heart beating as well. It sounded like a mini train chugging along :) Really cool.

Having this read, I know there is one prominent advantage, of being male: You don't get pregnant. :smokin

#117 Post by The Avatar » Tue May 11, 2004 7:22 pm

Advantage? Nay, I consider that man's ultimate disadvantage.

I think it's wonderful and I'm extremely happy for both of you ;)

Congratulations!

Just been for an ultrasound!!!!! The last one! Next time we see the baby it will be in this world!!

The nurse was checking for about 5 minutes making sure everything is ok and its the correct size and stuff, luckly everything is fine and is in the right place.

Unfortunatly she couldnt tell the sex! As you can see from the scan pic the baby has its legs together and knees bent so everything is covered up lol but she did say she thinks it is a GIRL! But thats only because she couldnt see anything dangling lol so we'll just have to wait till its born to know 100%

A little disapointed at that but we're just glad everything is ok!!

So here's the new pic! If you compare with the other pics its alot bigger!

Congratulations! Seems like you have passed some of the most critical developmental periods and that you have a wonderful healthy baby!
It's ok that you don't know its sex yet, that way people can make a poll about it and then you can let the winners fight over who will name him or her ;)

Yeah we have tossed around a few names. We were thinking of Ethan John Martin for a boy and Katherine Louise Martin for a girl. We wanted something that wasn't too commen really. But any ideas are welcome ;)

What a great looking Sonogram! Congrats, you guys. Looks quite healthy; got a great looking spinal column (If that's any kind of weird compliment to your child!)!
