Not too much. As it stands now, it would take a lot of extra work to add true translation support in there.<br><br><!--EZCODE IMAGE START--><img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashs ... <!--EZCODE IMAGE END--> <p></p><i></i>

Sorry, but right now we're not interested in keeping multiple language-versions of the site on our server.<br><br><!--EZCODE IMAGE START--><img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashs ... <!--EZCODE IMAGE END--> <p></p><i></i>

French Translation

#233 Post by link5186 » Mon Mar 15, 2004 7:51 am

I could translate into french, but the special characters (à,ç,è,é,ê,î,ï,ô, and œ) might contribute a problem. <p></p><i></i>

I don't think they'll be a problem anymore. But you WILL need to post some contact info.<br><br><!--EZCODE IMAGE START--><img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashc ... <!--EZCODE IMAGE END--> <p></p><i></i>

Is there still a open position for a Dutch translation? I fancy myself quite skilled in English-Dutch translation.

In case the position is still open, I can send a PM with my E-mail to AGD#1 or #2.

(And in case you're wondering: I'm from Holland, so Dutch is my native language.)

Nope. My dutch translation is what originally started my affiliation with AGDI.

I might translate it in bulgarian

2 questions though

1) where can i see the texts?
2) do you guys support cyrilic characters (kq1vga did... so I suspect you do)
the bulgarian language uses pretty much the russians characters with the exception of the roundabout "E"... (that looks like a 3)

Welcome, to the forums, Rado. They do support cyrillic characters. If you really want to spend the time to translate it, good luck. I personally think it's better to leave such games in the original language.
It's good to see another Bulgarian on the forums though.

If you'd open the template file in Word, you'd end up with a document that's 78 pages, although there's some hotspot sections that wouldn't need to be filled in, so I estimate the doc to be 70 pages in total.

And yes, cyrillic characters are supported.

if it is by email (...), please mail it to rado907@yahoo.com

Finnish translation

#248 Post by JLM5 » Fri Aug 06, 2004 11:26 am

Obviously you haven't a Finnish translation pack in KQ1 yet? I might be interested in making of Finnish translation to KQ1VGA. Would you need such a translation?

There are 2 symbols in Finnish that don't exist in English: ä and ö. Probably it isn't possible to make a good translation without those symbols. Do you have a font in KQ1VGA that includes those symbols?

Hello.

I wanna translate QFG, but I don`t know how. The most bad thing is that I need no complete text, I need how to extract this text from game and to add it back translated already. Can anybody help me?
