Keeping to the original topic is fine. If any more arguments erupt, this thread will suffer the same fate as the last one.

I am keeping to what I had begun to discuss before Zeus ruined everything.
I hope Blackthorne sees the pics I posted!
MuzlakOofmay: I don't think the KQ4VGA project you mentioned exists anymore. The page for it doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Thanks Boogey!
That's cool; I assume you can emulate the Amiga versions. Hmm. Can't SCI studio read the Amiga files? I mean if someone wanted to do a CBequest remake, they could just use the Amiga graphics, with some minor adjustments. Then at least the graphics would be done. Programming isn't ALWAYS as easy.
And agreed, this is a good topic for game development.

Well, you can get an emulator at Zophar's Domain. You will need a kickstart ROM to use the emulator. I can provide the Kickstart ROM. As for the games themselves:I got those pics from Oldgames.nu, however it would take FOREVER to earn enough download credit to get those. Unfortunatley, neither EdgeEmu or EmuParadise have Amiga.

Boogeyman.....
It was a joke: I'm the developer! the site is still up and progress is still being made.

Although my computer is set up as a webserver now, and we will probably be changing the company name, and registering a domain soon. This would probably be a good place to show some artwork, but I won't X) .

Can someone PM me and let me know what happened on the last thread? Maybe I should start visiting the boards on the weekends again and not just during work hours!

The last thread has been locked. It's still on the first page of this forum. You can just read it and see for yourself what happened.

LucasFan, about your comment in the previous thread:
I realise that you can take a lot of the stuff for a possible pq2 remake from pq1vga or pq3, but that was not the intention behind that screen. That was just me trying around a bit.

Well, I got an Amiga emulator, and got the games. I hate to burst bubbles here, but the games aren't any different than their PC EGA counterparts. The screens still use 16 colors, with the dotted-dithered colors.
I did some minor research, and learned that the EGA games were direct conversions, while the VGA games used the 32 color pallete.
