Since we have a bunch of mind readers here, what will the AGDs be doing after QfG2VGA?

I think that they will start a new remake. Who knows, perhaps they already started. After all, the subject of an AGDI KQ3 Remake has them saying some interesting things...

I voted "Climb a mountain" because I doubt they'll have conquered all 7 summits before the release of QFG2VGA.

hmmm... this is an interesting question. Will AGDI be closed down after QfG2VGA? Obviously the AGDs wants to make some money with Himalaya Studios, so will the day of the release be the last day of AGDI?
Or will they be passing the adventure-development hat to the next generation?

We might consider acting as a publisher. (or get a development team without the current senior staff)

That would be very interesting. Give some people a chance to practice their skills at adventure game creating themselves and bring them up to maybe making their own games someday. If they're serious about it. Obviously AGDI would have a good screening service to weed out the ones who are just excited about the thought of it and don't really care that much to actually go through all the hard work.
And I think myself that they're going to start their own game after this.

My vote is for Space Quest II or Space Quest III. I think they should take a break from the past like KQ & QFG and go for Futuristic & humour.

I think they can't do that because they have to reveal their name and faces if they are going to sell some games. And well it could be dangerous and very risky. No gamebuyers can trust everybody in this days. I mean if they keep hiding their id the buyer will probably think they are selling something unlegal stuff. But to be honest I don't care about who is behind the game when i am buying a new game I only care what is inside the game and what is all about, but like I said it could be dangerous for them to make a game and sell it right now and in the future. They have to get the copyright of those old classic Sierra games first so everything can be save.

Why would an original game be illegal? And they wouldn't be selling the Sierra remakes they've done so they don't need copyright. And they not even under the same name as AGDI when they make theyir own games so I don't see a danger. Unless I missed your point...

The chances of Sierra coming after the AGD's legally are slim to none and the Himalaya site (when it's back up) will most likely reflect that. (you'll probably find out the ID's of the AGD's)

Oh I would give anything to play a VGA / click & play, version of that game. It was an incredible story.
Thats uh... my prediction.

... or perhaps they don't really care about KQ, since QfG is ten times better than KQ.

I hope that the team devotes their efforts to a commercial game next. I would love to be able to buy it from a game store and know that I was into them from day one...
* Receives note from offscreen
They were around before 2003???
Anyway, I'd also like to think of them making money from their fabulous efforts.
