Re: btw
I want to understand something:bartonjo2 wrote:BTW the wizard portrait is to replace the one over the stairs, its not the speaking portrait so ive resized it to the exact size of the old portrait 15x23. I did a window frame for one of the windows in the kitchen, I redid the hand cursor and the eye cursor because they were deformed. I didnt redo the bread in the end because the one you have is fine. I did do the bowl and knife in their small size (the image shown when the item is part of the room, before being picked up) and their large size which is when they are being used. These images are all the right size, I took a screenshot and made sure that they worked, so please try them before you toss em.
Tell me what you think.
The zip file is here: http://www.j-barton.com/res320.zip
you want to replace the current vga graphics with your graphics?
Or you have the beta with AGI graphics and do not know about
the existence of a vga version?
no no no no
SOme of the graphics in Radiants game have not been updayed yet like mananaans portrait above the stairs its exatcly the same as the old one and so are several other graphics within the game. Im just trying to be helpful in my small way.
oh don't worry... They have been done all of them in vga by me.
It is the particular beta version that does not include them, and some of the pictures it has are beta version as well. This is due to an error in the radiant's diskette which had all of my final work on backgrounds, animations and objects.
No problem though, i have sent him all the files again.
However i am not sure if you will see them as it has beend decided to keep the beta versions open to a small group of dedicated testers who help with their reports, and not just play the game and forget everything else.
You can be very helpful. I learned the news

DKORNBLET: You don't really need a winsetup.exe for the game.. all that ever does is call the game's executable with a command line parameter of --setup You can therefore do the same manually using Start|Run or the Command Prompt.
bartonjo2: Radiant has moved the betas to private testing, so it's unlikely he'd spend any extra time to release a demo rather than just releasing the whole game when it's done. In any case, you could treat the last public beta as a demo, since it had some of the VGA graphics in it.
