QFG2 VGA new screen shots.
I've found these screenshots on google its a greek like place and it said its a preview of QFG2 VGA. Are these real? Please forgive me if this has been mentioned before.
Those screenshots are either still on the QfG2 feature page, or they were removed from there because they're outdated and have since been changed.
picture
Some of those could be put back since they have the curent costume. And although I saw the inn one in another thread I don't think it was on the feature page anyway it could still be put there along with the others once updated. The picture from screan shot contest could also be put there to. Any way were is this site mabe they have some other stuff I sure would like to see it maybe others would to.

Personally, I don't believe that is true. I understand where you are coming from, so I don't disagree in that regard. However, having early screenshots to compare with newer ones gives us, as players, an opportunity to see some of the development of the game that we otherwise would not have. We can get an idea of how the game improved as it went along.adeyke wrote:Some of those scenes have been vastly improved since those screenshots were made. So it would be bad to have those screenshots on the site, showing something much worse than the actual game.

No, this is really a secret easter egg called "drunk mode". You have to travel by flying carpet to the Blue Parrot inn and order 4 Djinn Slings. Then Wilmer will tell you to get out if his bar, as 4 drinks is the legal limit that Khaveen has enforced. Raseirian law states that bartenders aren't allowed to serve additional alcoholic beverages to people who are already intoxicated. So you get sent back to Shapeir and the game restarts, and then you play through the entire thing with blurred vision!

Actually, for doing that kind of fun, you wouldn't need much extra programming - only a plugin to simulate a drunken effect if desired. I know there are already plugins for things like flashlights in a dark room, so a drunk filter should be entirely possible.
Okay, I know this whole drunk thing was in jest, but it'd be a cool idea for someone to implement into a game. Imagine a puzzle with the player stumbling through several rooms trying to collect things for a hangover cure when you can't clearly see everything.
