I have been eagerly awaiting Hero6 since I heard it was being made all that time ago...and I would go so far as to say that not only are the QfG games good, they are my favorite games of all time...mainly QfG4, which beats any other game you can throw at it. Maybe its just the memories I have tied to that game, but I have to love it, none the less.

I think Hero6 will be great when it's released. So, hopefully, we can wait.

(starts throwing games at QfG4...)
III hits! III scores!
(no seriously, I know I'm going against the consensus here but I liked III better; I enjoyed the tribal atmosphere)

Heh.
I agree with Radiant. The game had its 'wrongs', but so did all of them. Their imperfections made them perfect.
Art-wise, QfG3 was my favourite by far. Although QfG2 is still on top for me plot wise.
But the first 4 games were all fantastic.

The game has been in dvelopment for 6 years I think and I dont think SQ7 will even take that long and they made their own wngine and 3D graphics.

Who cares? I'm positive it will be released eventually and there are some very talented people on that team.

Hero6 is 5 years old. Not 6. And I'm pretty sure it will be released before SQ7. Even KQ9.
PS: Hero6 isn't a sequel to QfG. It has its own story, plot and art.

Gron is one of the lead artists for Hero6, so he knows what he's talking about.

Even if we wanted a sequal, we can't get one now, thanks to that (horrible) ending in QG5

Actually, it is possible to write a sequel to QfG5 if you want. The main problem seems to be that the Hero is horrendously powerful
(go James Bond style... something attacks/kills/kidnaps his beloved wife; you will need a new villain though, but I've always mildly disliked bringing back past villains)

The Hero6 webpage doesn't even work for me. Just a bunch of error messages.

I was thinking of making a QFG6, but I'llstick to writing my ideas or now. I had some pretty cool ideas for the hero.
But I dont want to raise hopes.

The problem there is that the Hero can choose whom to marry (if anyone) in QfG5. Also, Elsa, Erana, and Katrina (though probably not Nawar) can probably take care of themselves. Just giving them a generic "damsel in distress" role really doesn't do them justice.
