Top 10 things you like!

#1 Post by Broomie » Wed Oct 27, 2004 9:41 am

I was bored so I thought we should make a list of 10 things you like. Nice little thing we can do during the last [s]weeks[/s] months of QFG2VGA's release.

I shall begin;

1. Girls - Well not with Amy any more but being single is still fun, going out on Friday nights especially ;)
2. Partying - Love going to parties and getting pissed out of my head, and than some fit girl giving it. :P (Last R Rated comment I swear)
3. Booze - Love bit of the lager, okay the whole pint of it. Stella is my favourite drink, followed by Fosters, yet that's a pansy drink.
4. Games - Yep, what Top 10 list can go without games, none of them! Adventure games to be exact, what better than to come home and rev up Grim Fandango or King's Quest 6 and giving it a whirl.
5. Website Design - Okay bit of a nerdy favourite but I just find making new designs great. Yeah innit!!!1
6. Music - Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Muse. My Fave 3!
7. Films/TV - Love watching the movie every now again, plus I just got Surround Sound put into my room, and just watched Day after Tomorrow, I tell you what that is some freaky shit, I kept thinking there was a tornado outside my window. :lol
8. Havings lot of money - Who doesn't?
9. Football - Love watching England play... and playing it aswell. ;)
10. My Family - Ah yes those people who I grew up with to love.

Speaking of family, if anyone has access to Channel Five in England, watch every Monday at 10pm (Than again timezones are different) a show called Boxing Academy, my cousin is in it and he's got into the top 10. I feel so safe knowing one of my relatives is one of the toughest people in England. :)

Was anyone else surprised I didn't mention Spider-Man?

In (more or less) random order:

1) POKéMON. But that should come as no surprise if you know me. :p
2) Anime/Manga.
3) Picross (AKA nonograms, Japanese crosswords...) .
4) Games.
5) Logic puzzles. Although this has already been partially represented (Picross), I feel it deserves to be mentioned as well.
6) Music, especially JPOP. Quite likely one of the best music genres ever.
7) Programming. Nerdy, yes, but then again - most people consider me to be a nerd, so fits the bill quite well.
8) Wikipedia. A free and highly useful encyclopedia that anyone can contribute to. How can you not love it?
9) Nihongo*! Hey, I'm studying the language even though I may never need it, so it's pretty obvious that this goes on the list.
10) Computers in general. Like I said, I'm a nerd.

*Japanese.

Bt's Top Ten Things he likes

1) My Girlfriend - I don't just like her - goddamit, I love her. Weird.
2) Playing My Guitar - It's the only thing I've ever stayed committed to for over 10 years. In fact, it's been almost 18 years since I was given my first guitar.
3) Watching Films - I love movies. I watch them all the time, and I could talk about them all the time.
4) Writing Screenplays - another thing I love to do; I hope to film a movie next year. Budgets suck!
5) Not Doing Dialysis - Kidney Dialysis sucks. I'm glad I don't have to do it right now. I hoping that my transplanted kidney holds on for a while.
6) Hanging Out With My Friends - having a casual beer in our favorite pub, and listening to music as we discuss pop culture, books, music, films and politics. Good times.
7) Triva - I love trivia. I'll kick your ass.
8) Acting Like A Buffoon - Gotta love what comes natural like.
9) My Girlfriend - so good, I had to list her twice.
10) LAST BUT NOT LEAST, working on QFI and KQIII. When I was a kid, I always wanted to work for Sierra. I'm sort of living a part of a dream, which rocks.

That's it!

I loved reading that. :lol

I can't believe that only Broomie so far has said a sport (football), and even he referred only to the watching of it.

Ok, here goes:

- Sport: playing (soccer, Aussie rules footy mainly) and watching (footy, tennis, cricket, soccer)
- Women: in particular, my girlfriend.
- Computer games: Quest for glory, Fifa soccer, Warcraft, Unreal, etc.
- Friends.
- Having a good drinking night.
- Getting good grades at university (doesn't always happen, but when it does, it's one of my favourite things)
- Watching enjoyable tv/movies
- Listening to music.
- Flaming people (nah.... would I do that? ;) )
- Having good conversations.

Books: fantasy, science-fiction, historical and modern fiction
Music: mainly jazz and the classics but I also really enjoy more modern stuff on a case-by-case basis
Eating: one of my favourite pasttimes :)
Cooking: mostly because of the previous
Pure mathematics: what can I say? I'm a geek :lol
Languages: I find other languages fascinating, but I can't devote as much time to learning them as I'd like
Programming: did I mention I'm a geek?
Adventure games: text or graphical, I don't discriminate
Wine: making as well as drinking
Science: particularly physics, but I like all kinds
Women: unfortunately, I don't get to appreciate them as much as I'd like :\

Broomie, Fosters is a great drink. You're the pansy.... :lol

My Top 10 List, in no particular order.

1 - Women. Lots of people have said girls, but women are better.
2 - Beer.
3 - Being Drunk.
4 - Raymond E Feist. The only books I go out and buy the day the come out. Great author.
5 - We Will Rock You. I have seen the musical 4 times now and I still love it. I even bought the soundtrack of the London cast. (Quite crap compared to the Aussie cast I reakon.)
6 - Music. Every moment in life needs a soundtrack.
7 - **Censored****
8 - Making games. I always wanted to work for Sierra when I was growing up, this is nearly as good.
9 - Spanish Ladies. They just look so nice.
10 - The Soprano's. The greatest single tv series ever.

American Football, eh?... Like I said, no one but Broomie put down anything resembling...

Heh, just kidding. I must have overlooked it.

Charlemagne, you've put me to shame. I can't believe I left eating off my list :o . I'm so embarrassed - don't tell the food, ok?

7 - **Censored****
Hmmmm, maybe I need a new number 7. Obviously that may have offended some lefty liberal.

7 - Climbing Mountains. I have a goal of climbing every "hill" or "mountains" that rises more than 3 meters above sea level.

Hows that?
