Current book
(just don't tell me you don't read anything )
I'm currently re-reading M. Mitchell's "Gone with the Wind". A very great book, I think it's American "War and Peace".

They're amazing books! I believe they are also making a Lion, Witch & Wardrobe movie!Khaveen wrote:Cool, these are really great books. Gotta re-read it again...I also finished re-reading the entire Chronicles of Narnia a few months ago.

I read the first 2 narnias (The magicians nephew and The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe) and The horse's boy i think it's called was pretty boring to me so I gave up my brother says it's all worth it because the final battle was supposed to be very cool. Also I've read all 11 Lemony Snicket books and the unautorized autobiography and it's not so much the story I read for anymore it's the style of the author(s?)
My mother says that Lemony Snicket could be a pen name of several writers working together and through the series it is stated several times that he is not a real guy if you look close. now this is obvious and the book is for children that probably wouldn't pick that up but I think it has an appeal for adults as well which would make it a good movie.
P.S The books get kinda dumb and dissapointing after about 8 then it goes downhill. Also it's obvious that the series will be 26 books in length seeing as if you look at the titles it appears he's trying to hit the whole alphabit

Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates - Tom Robbins
- This novel is superb. Everyone should read it.
She's Come Undone - Wally Lamb
- My Girlfriend gave this to me, it's a sad yet triumphant story of a girl growing up in the 60's and 70's. Check it out.
Reel to Real:Cinema in History
- a book about bio-pics, and their accuracies and inaccuracies to life.
The Tao of Pooh - Benjamin Hoff
- The wisdom of Taoism, taught through the eyes of Winne the Pooh and company. Check it out.
Dune - Frank Herbert
- Again, I read Dune. I love this book. That's all I can say.
The Gnostic Gospels and Other Early Christian Literatue
- Readings on books that were not accepted into the cannon of the tradtional Christian Bible. Interesting reading.
The Book Of Mormon
- One might notice that I read a lot of religious literature. I study religions, so that I know what it is that I do not like. I make sure I am educated to what I despise, because blind hatred is just wrong.
No One Here Gets Out Alive - Biography of the Doors
- Like others in my list, I've read before, but I picked it up again this month.
These are just a few books I read this month. I like to read.

I'm currently trying to read through Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This will be the 2nd time, and I find it harder to read, because I know the outcome. Its a depressing book really and I don't know if I have the heart to read....you know...that one part again...
P.S: BT, Dune is one of my favorite books as well. Dune Messiah and Children of Dune are pretty good too.

No one asked, but I'll tell you all anyway.Brainiac wrote:...ask me what I'm reading in 2 days when I get some new books to enjoy.
I got A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin and read it in 2 days. I'm now moving on to Deception Point by Dan Brown and then the Bible of Middle-Earth, The Silmarillion.
Nothing American matches War and Peace! :pI'm currently re-reading M. Mitchell's "Gone with the Wind". A very great book, I think it's American "War and Peace".
I was reading Bram Stocker's Dracula and Fermat's Last Theorem a few weeks ago. Now I'm waiting to receive "De Vinchi's Code" (I think that is the English name), by Dan Brown.
