It's snowing!!
I don't know about you guys, but I'd like nothing more than to share the fact that it's snowing!!
In Texas, it only snows like one day out of the year, if it snows at all, so this is really special.. maybe it'll stay for Christmas!
That's one great thing about living in Texas, the snow never loses it's magic feeling.

Here it snows...............................................
The day before Thanksgiving here, it snowed. It melted a few days later. Then about a week, and a half later, it snowed again. And again, it melted away. Then it snowed last week, and it is yet again, starting to melt away. But there is still a decent amount of snow on the ground.
Well, that's Michigan weather for you.

Snow
Well, we here in Southern Ohio are getting slammed! My area of the state is under a Level 2 snow emergency (avoid driving if at all possible and move all street-parked cars) and is estimated to get up to 16 inches of snow before this winter storm blows through. It's already over a foot deep! Yikes!
You think that's bad, wait until you hear the predictions for upcoming weather...snow thunderstorms. Is it just me, or does the idea of lightning and snow together seem like it should be a harbinger of the apocalypse?

Jack Frost..................................................
Well, a bunch of snow was dropped here overnight. It's a few inches deep, but it's not that bad.

Snowdrifts
I just finished clearing the driveway and sidewalks. It was a foot and a half deep and I watched several cars get trapped on the road in front of my house during my two hours of work.
I love winter, snow, and having a white Christmas, but this is a bit much!

Mama Mia, that sounds NASTY! Makes me think of 2300 A.D. in Chrono Trigger!Brainiac wrote:You think that's bad, wait until you hear the predictions for upcoming weather...snow thunderstorms. Wow, nice analogy; it sounds kind of like that, doesn't it?Boogeyman wrote:Mama Mia, that sounds NASTY! That's one..................................................
That's one of the many, many games I've currently playing. I'm also playing all the FF's games, 1-9. Out of order I might add. I've finished 7 a week ago. Just 8 more to go.I think I need to go play Chrono Trigger now...
Oh yeah, there's Megaman X5, and 6, along with Breath of fire 4, and a few others. And not to mention the adventure games I have to play.
Oh yeah, I hate snow. Because I have to shovel it........

As I've played most of these, I offer my advice. The Knight wrote:I'm also playing all the FF's games, 1-9. Out of order I might add. I've finished 7 a week ago. Just 8 more to go.

FF: Play VI. Now. Play IV as well, but only if you've got the PlayStation version or a translated HardType ROM. The others take as you will.
MMX6 - Trash. MMX5 - Innovative and satisifying, but oh how I hate the "Ready" voice...
BOF4: Not a bad game, but too similar to BOF3 for me.
And 1 - 9 isn't ALL the FF games...
