If you beat Qfg2 you know why the Saurus always bails on you when a monster attacks. And the gate guard says that sauruses help you fight monsters. My question is when you get rasier you get a new saurus, how come it still runs away from battle?

Because they didn't bother programming a new saurus. All the other saurii are kangaroos, so that would be kinda strange :P

Yeah I know they just kept the same programming. It would have been neat if the saurus stayed and fought with you though.... Whatever, just pointing out rhetorical questions...

The mere thought of adding an extra entity to the battles probably sends shivers up the scripting department's spine.
Translation: we're still looking at the possibilities. Keep in mind that during the Raseir part, most players don't venture outside the city a lot.

Hahaha, lazy programmers, I had extra entities(both enemy and allied) in QFI's first builds!

There will be more to do in Rasier right? I hate having my hero Pace in a circle for 20 minutes waiting for the Night to become Young:)

You get another saurus when departing for Raseir.
BTW, you'll be able to rest in QFG2VGA, so in order for the night to fall in Raseir, simply go to the Blue Parrot and click special->rest in order to skip 60 minutes.

You can't do that! The none-resting was what added to Raseir's atmosphere!

Sorry, we already did. Of course, nobody's holding a gun to your head and ordering you to rest to pass time.

Um...no. Clicking special-> rest is how you rested in QFG1VGA, QFG3 and QFG4 as well. The reason you'd want to be in the blue parrot while waiting for the night to fall is because you're not allowed to be on the streets at night in Raseir.

I don't remember a Special Rest in QFG 1 3 4,
but it would be very cool to have a Special Rest in QFG2VGA.

The word special means the special actions bar. QFG1VGA, QFG3 and QFG4 have a special action bar that contains actions like running, sneaking, resting, time and char sheet. That's what I meant when I said "special - > rest".

It shouldn't be too hard. It's the same thing, only with point-and-click interface, nice new graphics, an easier-to-navigate alleyway system, and a Used Saurus Lot or some such thing that Corey Cole wanted in the game. It's not like you need to update it from KQ2 to KQ2VGA or something.
