The U.S. mint has just produced a new coin with the Sierra logo on it:
The image on the coin is of Half-Dome, which is also on the Sierra logo.

Well... when VU said they wanted to use the name (and logo) of Sierra, they really knew what they were doing! What a nice advertisement! :p

Well, it IS an actual Mountain range and all...and it's actually CALLED the Sierra Nevada, I believe...and if I'm not mistaken, that's where Sierra got their name from...so I wouldn't be surprised that an historical landmark would make the back of the quarter.
And what do you mean pathetic? Look at Texas' design! That was by far the most boring and stupid design of 'em all! An outline of the state with a star where Austin it, the border of the quarter being surrounded by rope and the slogan "The Lone Star State" next to it? That's retarded!
And in closing, here's a panel from a 1990 issue of Green Lantern. Take care.

I think all real Sierra fans knows that Kurdt.

This just means it is clever to use an actual landmark for your logo. It advertises itself.

I've actually been at the top of that mountain. It's got a really cool view from the top, and you have to climb this rope ladder-like thing to scale the last 100 feet or so. It's quite a thing to sit on the egde of that cliff and see your feet dangling over a sheer 1000 foot straight drop.

Moderately, but in truth it just means you're familiar with the bad Gerard Jones run of GL which is basically credited with making DC give up on Hal Jordan and fostering the decision to make him a bad guy and kill him.
Man, I want Rebirth #4 and 5 to be out now...

No, seriously, I rock. :lol
Actually, I always hated the fact they never "rebooted" Green Lantern like they did to all the other series post-crisis. I mean, they can start Superman and Batman again, they can surely restart a second tier character like GL.

They did reboot Green Lantern. That was what Emerald Dawn 1 and 2 were. What happened Post-Crisis is that ED1 and ED2 were Hal's beginnings, his entire history Pre-Crisis was his tenure as a hero, and then the new series picked up where it left off. Same thing with Flash and the rest. They were all rebooted/retconned, just not as blatantly as Superman and Batman were.
