There will be no April Fool's joke this year. The crew of AGDI have all grown up and decided that April Fool's jokes are merely silly adolescent humor that they will have no part of.

What will AGDI's April Fool's Joke be this year?

#1 Post by fluxmaster » Sat Mar 12, 2005 8:44 pm

Okay, here's what I think that AGDI's April Fool's joke will be this year:  Radiant and company were on AGDI's payroll all along (well, they don't actually get paid, but you know what I mean), and on April Fool's day will come out with a fully complete VGA version of Kings Quest 3 with enhanced plot and speach pack.

What does everyone else think that AGDI's April Fool's joke will be this year?

No, Flux, you got it all wrong. Didn't you realize that AGD#1 and #2 were actually aliases for The Ken and The Roberta?

(oops, I guess I'm going to get myself killed for saying that...)

I actually had several more options, but I had to delete them because polls are limited to ten choices.  The last one was going to be "Other (please specify)."  So please specify any other April Fools joke you think they may pull.

BTW, AGDI's are inelegible to vote in this poll.

I picked "They were never really working on QFG2; they were just leading us on."

I sure hope that's not it though   ;)    If it was, they would have fooled a lot of us.

I think AGDI will do nothing this year. OR they could release a fake QFG2VGA demo?  :lol

Or merge with some other crews to produce a kickass game.

Now that would be cool if it actually happened. I'd still like a QFG2VGa demo though.  :smokin

Cain, compadre, dude, ace, pal, mate, buddy.....what you talking about? AGDI would never be involved with another project.

Well, I guess it happens once every death of a pope that the AGD's decide not to do an April Fool's joke.

So were they behind "Hero of Infamy"?  They haven't owned up to it yet, have they?

AGDI's joke was the QFG2 Slot Machine.

Sorry, I never read that thread.  Any thread that contains the word "Birthday" in its title I automatically ignore.  I had thought that the thread required each participant to post his birthday, I don't like to post personal identifying information online.

Fluxmaster is a 73-year-old Inuit who currently lives in Southern Borneo and enjoys cereal in his tea. From: http://ip-spy.fbi.gov. How's that for personal?

Even if it's an announcement and posted by me? That smarts. :p

Well, I suppose that if I'm going to post a poll about April Fool's jokes, then before declaring that there was none I should have checked all the threads posted by admins first.  It's just that I was expecting the joke to be a new game or feature, not a birthday contest.  Besides, at 73 years old, my mind doesn't function as it once did, and the Internet connections in Borneo are so slow that it takes too long to read all the threads.  My apologies.

Well, time for my tea.
