Hitchhikers was awesome. Totally awesome.

I had some troubles at the start. Ford isn't a black guy. Marvin looked wrong. Then I forced myself to forget that I'd seen the series a thousand times and I ended up completely enjoying the movie. It was so cool that they deviated from the books / radio series / tv show, cause it kept it interesting for people like me (and most of my friends who are also huge Douglas Adams fans).

It was also nice that they kept most of the second and third books not in the movie. Leaves plenty for the sequal. Which will also be awesome.

Just went to see HHG, and overall I thought it was great. Sure, it was rushed and took some elements out of the book, but if I hadn't read the book it would have been one of my favourite films. Well near anyway.

I was abit disappointed the way it was Americanized, Ford Prefect was strange as he was supposed to be British, so were most of the characters. Yet it really is no skin off my nose, as the great Douglas Adams said "It doesn't matter what nationality the characters are played by, just make Arthur Dent British!"

Martin Freeman was an excellent choice for Arthur, he can portray a very serious character to a comedic character.

Btw, who else has a copy of "So long, but thanks for all the Fish" in their My Music folder? :p

I plan to see that movie soon, the latest trailer is simply amazingly funny. The one when they explain what a trailer should be like.  :lol

I just watched Star Wars 3, and it was the worse Star Wars movie yet sorry to say, I found the speech and dialog between the driods funny, and some other jokes, I only enjoyed the first half hour of the film, so I only recommend this film if your a die hard fan.

In ohter news Monster in-law is a much better and funnier film than star wars 3, I enjoyed this film so much. Its guaranteed that you'll get tons of laughs and sniggers out of Monster In-law, highly recommended.  ;)

I've heard alot of people's reviews of the films, and funnily enough you're the first person to say it was bad. However, everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

But Broomie, this is the only review you hear from him regarding everything. Nothing new.  :p  jk

Like Broomie, I read it's good.

Well the film was okay, I mean I just found the battle scenes to be WAY too busy and it generally gives me a headache from all those flashes.  :p

Aye, I did hear it's a violent one. Weird, but the battles are the main thing I'm expecting  ;)

Without giving anything away, I just thought  that Anakin's turn to the Dark Side was a little too sudden and forced.  In fact, a lot of the plot of the movie seemed forced in order to tie up all the loose ends between the trilogies, because there sure were a lot of them.  I don't think it was really any worse than the other prequels, but it certainly wasn't any better. Though there were some cool parts.

Ex:  If you pay close attention, you can see the Millenium Falcon in one of the scenes.
It's at the bottom of the screen when Obi Wan and Anakin are landing at the capital right after saving the Chancellor.
I agree, there were a few good scenes, but it was too rushed. Attack of the Clones was much better in my opinion.  ;)

What? Do we have to wait another year for Brokeback Mountain?  :|  I've been waiting for so long already.
