British bulldog was a great kids game but it is a shame I'll never be able to taste beaver tale. I don't really understand why the beaver is on our nickel (or 5 cent piece) and a polar bear (2 polar bears after 2000) is on the toonie (2 dollar piece) thinking on those terms a loonie wouldn't be the same with a beaver on it, God I hate all the coins I have to deal with they even thought of one day making 5 and even 20 dollar coins

Ah missed that comment. Guess that goes to prove that I really do zone out when I read longwinded posts.Trolling, are we? I see someone is in desperate need of attention ...
Oh you! :lol I don't need the attention of people on a forum to make me feel good about myself. I have friends in real life who make me feel good about myself just because they are my friends and that we enjoy each others company. I also have friends whom I only speak to online due to distance who also appreciate me for myself and my ability to communicate on an intelligent level.
I also don't need to be self-rightous and condesending in my posts to make a flame to someone whom I really don't know or care about. But to mention one flaw of mine, I am petty sometimes...

No kidding. Some days my wallet gets mighty heavy, and if I wasn't wearing a belt my pants would fall down. The one and two dollar coins are pretty darn heavy... and yes, if they had made a five dollar coin that would have just added to it.

Yeah... so... umm... I was wondering what the public opinion would be for the best thing to do in this situation. Say you find a pretty large venomous snake coiled up in your backyard where your kids play. You find it because your dog is barking at it. When you walk outside, you see the snake striking at your dog.
What would you do?
What would you do?

...........
Am I supposed to answer this?
Before I suggest, is this actually for real? Or a test?
In my opinion, I would try to get your family and dog inside the house and call an animal's authority number so they can take care of it. No way in any circumstances would I deal with a deadly snake by myself. I would make sure that everyone is safe from it before I do anything else.
FGF, please if you don't have anything remotely useful to say towards the topic don't answer at all.

Two words for what to do to the snake: "Meat" and "Grinder".
Well, that is if it would be my dog.. No one, and let me say this again, NO ONE harms my dog(s). I assume the snake already got a bite at the dog. Then again, how would I catch it without getting bitten myself. Mah well, enough of heavy and sharp objects (not to mention long) in here to take care of the snake right there..
It would only leave the yard in a plastic bag.
But if it wouldn't have gotten a bite at anyone, I guess I would do it the Broomie-way.

I suppose, but I always have horrid premonitions of me taking on a snake with a shovel and the snake getting it's tail and swiping it out of my hand, then proceeding to inject his deadly p-juice into my left thigh.
Yeah, I'm a pussy when it comes to deadly animals (no pun intended) because they're all so different and you never know if they have some super power which will be your downfall.

Speaking from experience, except for the children part, you get something very heavy and beat the ever loving shit out of the snake until it no longer resembles a snake and no longer scares the crap out of you because you nearly stood on it.
My older brother once got bitten by a King Brown which is usually a lethal bite but it only got a single fang in and he lived.
The only good snake is a dead snake.
