Lucasfan confused them!

#1 Post by Zeus » Sat Aug 21, 2004 2:35 pm

In this group they still believe that the picture that Lucasfan posted
(a remake of the colonel's bequest swamp)belongs to an official remake project! :lol

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/lau ... r/messages

The anouncement reads :

Hello Laura Fans! I just found this site and wanted to let you know
that our team is working on a remake of Colonels Bequest, too! It
will be a 1:1 remake with improved 2D-graphics and point & click. We
managed to convince the brilliant artist LucasFan to join our team!!

poor laura bow fans. Some more victims of evil Lucasfan :lol

I don't know who is the bigger criminal, LF or Jodo Kast........

both are peddling fake games, only LF is too willing to admit he doesn't have one!!!!!!

I didn't see him admitting it on that particular group. I think you meant he doesn't insist he has one when asked.

of course LF did not say he is remaking LB. But his pictures are so convincing, i mean so well done that when someone -a liar such as Jodo- says to X that they belong to a remake, then X easily accepts this fact!

I told them that this is not true, but they did not want to believe me.
They answered me that it is INDEED a remake. It would be fun if LF posted there and denied all these rumors.

It is the same guy that told to yahoo newsgroup that he prepares a colonel remake, and says that LF works for him!

Good to hear that finally you found a job Lucasfan :p
(However the big question is : DO YOU KNOW that you work for such a project?) :lol

Zues, I edited your post. The subject material is kind of off limits.

a)Furthermore he was paid a huge amount of money by NBC, the channel that presented his work. ;) Very nice Job!

b)Lucasfan i give you the double amount of money that NBC gave you, in order to make a sierra remake :p

(a.I am kidding)

(b.I am definately kidding. You are too expensive. I prefer to buy myself a Mercedes SLK - the new model of course)

Yup, but I'm not alone.   ;)
During several discussions with team members of other (mainly German) adventure projects I have discovered many similarities to other "game makers":

We are all students in the twenties.
We usually don't wake up before 9 o'clock in the morning.
Only a small minority of us ever attended a lecture.
We usually need 2-3 trials to pass a test.
Although we're still young, we talk a lot about "the good old days".
