Hmm...

Can anyone recommend a good temp sensor program? I've tried motherboad monitor but it just says the temp is -129 c or something.

I dont know if I have a temp sensor but I'm sure I read all P4 have a temp diode inside them...

I'm pretty sure you're right about all P4's having a built in temp diode.

All of the temp sensor programs I've used are specific to a motherboard, but in your BIOS, there should be a screen that tells you the temps.  If they ARE high, then you are on the right track.  If the temperatures are low, however, then extra cooling won't help.

Maybe, just maybe, one of your other fans isn't working properly, such as the one on your video card, or on the chipset, which would be a small fan on the motherboard itself.
