Microsoft Interview
Hey everyone!
Just to let everyone know, I have a job interview at Microsoft next week! Wish me luck.
Just in case you're curious, I'm currently developing software, but my pay rate where I'm currently employed is very low, and I'm considering leaving unless my pay is raised significantly.
I'm really excited for the position as it pays $30-$40 per hour! This is huge to a poor college student who wants to leave his parents' home.
Wish me luck!

I live in the Seattle/Redmond area, which of course helps a lot.
I think what they're interested in is the fact that I've had 2 years of professional experience in .NET languages, plus a total of 12 years of independent study, free programming work for online projects, and extensive experience in C#, VB, and C++.
Yeah, I second your question, broomie.

Hero: We could not read your post. It wasn't that we were pointing out mistakes for all to gock at. You sentence did make make any sense. The AGDI does ask that you take more time in making a post so that everone will be able to read, comprehend, and if desired, comment on it. When you post things like that, the only comments you will get is that you need to improve your keyboarding skills. The Hero wrote:Thank you however it gets annoying when the people here point out mistakes for all to see and gock at i hope the people who do this sort of thing do not reflect the AGDI forum member or team as a whole.
Back on topic: good luck buddy
Muzlack: I'm jealous! Just remember where it all started.

Hero: Don't take the comments personally. It's just nice etiquette to post stuff that people can read. It's not that they were mistakes that someone was pointing out. It's that someone couldn't understand fundementally altogether what you were trying to say. "Gocking" and pointing out stupid mistakes would be mentioning that gock is actually spelled gawk.
Everyone: Thanks for the encouragement! It's actually not too late Vamp, as the interview is on wednesday. I really ought to be preparing for questions they might ask, but I haven't started yet. I don't think I mentioned that this is part of a change at work. I've asked my job to raise my pay from $11 to $35. Based on what goes down, I may or may not leave.
Navy: Yeah, it all started seeing King's Quest the first time and wanting to make my own.
