Introducing myself....
Hi everyone!!
I just discovered this website today and my first thought was "OMG!!!"
I can't believe that I've never found this site before...I've spent so much time looking for any of the earliest games that Sierra had made and then I suddenly come across a remade version by fans!! Thank you all!!
May you continue to grow and prosper so that we the fans can benefit from you.

Welcome to the forums Zypher!!
Glad you enjoyed the remakes, but there is more to come with Quest for Glory 2 VGA!
Also you should check out the upcoming adventure game Al Emmo & The Lost Dutchman's Mine

If we're going to get all nostalgic here we may aswell mention such moments as:Angelus3K wrote:Forest Green colour scheme *wipes tear* it was beautiful!!
I'm digging this fresh blue colour though!
The classic forum games: The first ever continue the sentence game was a beaut. The amount of times the story would end up with me concieving a child with Hagatha was endless.
Takari's Love Triangle: Me, Erpy and Takari... scary.
TIERRA GAME CENTRAL! The first Tierra fansite composed naturally of copy and paste from the official site.
The rush to a 1000: I think my introduction to the forum games was the cause of this one. The Knight and Vildern on the race to the custom titles.
The formation of IA: Okay, maybe nostalgic for me and wasn't long ago like the others were but the simple words "I'll help with web design" changed my life forever.
Bit drunk at the moment and can't seem to remember any (there's another one actually, the many drunk posts which occured shortly after the appearance of Steffi)
Care to remember anymore? I believe Erpy wrote a huge list at IA of the best Tierra/AGDI moments. Here it is.
Me too! I was fond of that one.I still say there should be a forest green color scheme for these forums similar to the old ezboards one. I'd use it!
Oh, Angelus, the puppet show... that was... one thing I'd like to read once more
That was a good read. Thanks for posting it!Care to remember anymore? I believe Erpy wrote a huge list at IA of the best Tierra/AGDI moments. Here it is.
Perhaps, a new Golden Age will begin, after the release of QFG2VGA.

Holy crap, I remember that! That was funny! Back in the days of EZboards - so save bandwith costs!VampD3 wrote:I remember when Erpy had to put a limit on how many we could post each day!! and Vil used his up straight away and had to log in under "VildernCIA" and "VildernXXX" lol so did T-Knight. :lol
I'm sure a new Golden Age WILL form after QFG2VGA - and we'll be the grizzled veterans.... heh. Time passes quickly. I remember when I didn't have a transplant and I was on here!

It wasn't so much bandwidth, but views per topic. EZ-board's gold community gets more expensive if your forum is viewed more often (because of the ads people DON'T see when you have gold) and each time the post machines made another post just to up that number below their name, everyone would re-read the topic again, even though only a few words were added to it. AGD2 and I kept forking out large amounts of cash to keep the ads from returning.
That "moron" was KQ4ever. And yeah, that thread was pretty funny. An interesting tidbit was that after the whole stunt, he returned under another username and started posting "like a normal member". And (almost) nobody ever noticed it was him.
