#1 Post by John » Sat Feb 24, 2007 4:16 am

Just wondering is any of your testers testing this game out on Windows Vista?
I hope so just in case i ever get Vista.

As long as AGS works in Vista, QFG2VGA will too. It's kinda out of their control, though, since it's an engine specific thing not a code-specific thing.

I dual boot Vista with XP, that may be an option to consider.

There's a free tool called Microsoft Virtual PC which allows you to run another operating system inside of Vista (in a window.)  This includes support for previous versions of Windows, so even if AGS isn't compatible with Vista, it will remain compatible with XP, which you can run IN Vista.

You can but VirtualPC is only allowed in Business and Ultimate versions of Vista, so if you have the money to spring for that, you're out of luck.
Virtual PC 2007 runs on: Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Tablet PC, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, and Windows Vista Ultimate.
