LOL! You've got quite some skill with that kinda cartoon-style! :)
You really should keep playing with it. :)

Will you try one or two other characters from QfG2 like that?

This might take a while to load, but I hope you all enjoy. :)

I'll definitely be trying other characters in this style, so expect to see more where this came from.

Ever wondered what would happen if the Hero stole that magic carpet and used it for his own entertainment? Well, this is one possible scenario when you account for the lack of intelligence points you gave him.

Thanks guys. :) I'll definitely try to keep the comics rolling, but I wanted to try my hand at yet another style.

The picture is based on QFG1...heheh, the massively long Goblin battle was interrupted by a not-so-happy camper.

LOL! Yeah, THAT appearance would make the squabble between him and the goblins seem pretty insignificant. :)

That too is a pretty cool style you have there! Nice job!

Same style as the last one...

I just got a new job which will require me to work full-time, so I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to dedicate to more artwork. I'd love to keep them coming, but that all depends on how well I manage my time... and with getting married in December, I've got alot on my plate! :D

You know, you have a real future with that style of yours. Especially at Disney, who's currently very fond of that kind of style! :)

Yay...I just can't stop.

Note from Shameen in his daily journal.

"Day 304 of our heroes arrival here in Shapier,
Today, the Hero of Spielburg asked me to join him in search for an oasis of sorts. Without any hesitation at all I made a fact of letting him know that the Katta are fearless and ready for anything!
We left in a hurry, and I was unable to wish my dear Shema a lovely morning. But without looking back, I pushed forward with the Hero to the top of the valley in which Shapier is located. (I don't believe I've ever had such an exhausted tread.) We traveled west along the cliff-sides, and walked for what seemed to be days! It was after about three hours or so that the Hero stopped suddenly, causing me to bump into him with much force. And it was precisely at this time when I turned around and saw the most horrifying thing I've ever beheld within my entire life-span...it was indeed a Scorpion! Living in Shapier, the guards would usually handle any infestations we might have of these creatures, but I had been lucky enough to previously never see one.
The creature, I could tell, was very hostile, and I knew that it was my duty to guard my hero so that he could concentrate on the path ahead. I hastily sunk my foot into it's back, crushing its spine and ending the dreadful encounter. When I turned back to show the Hero of my accomplishment, he looked stunned...as if he believed that a Katta could not protect itself in these harsh environments! As awful it made me feel, I did not let the Hero know of my frustrations with him. Without any hesitation it seemed, the Hero encouraged me to travel south with him and avoid such dangers in the west.
After many more hours of searching, we made our way back to Shapier. I'm very relieved to be back home on my fine seat, but I feel as if the Hero under-appreciates the people of Shapier and myself."

I enjoyed the fan art in this thread -- I was not aware of it until someone mentioned it in the general forum. I would love to see more fan art, it's a little disappointing that there's only one contributor.

Unfortunately, I cannot add anything myself, as I gave up my (mediocre) talent for other things many years ago.

My only criticism for Tye's work is that the objects look very 'flat'; foreground objects sometimes look like they're 'stuck-on'. Other than that, great job.

Well, that would be because they're simply quick 20 min speed drawings. If you look at some of the first art I added at the begining of this topic, you'll see what it looks like when I spend more than that on something.

Anyhow, that's all about the style, I wasn't going for a completely amazing look, I just wanted to get an idea across visually.

Also, pretty cool that this is now in the general forum. *is happy now*

Good attempt, but take this one and paste it over your previous version. Make the transparency to about 50%. That should do the trick. :)

lol.

*sad face at the word "attempt"*

Anyhow, I understand that it looks odd due to it being in mixed styles now... and the facial change wasn't what I thought it was...

As for the transparency...go look.
