Heh. If you make a adventure game from it, it would ACTUALLY be KQ8, since that game actually isn't '8'...
in other words, you'll have a sequel, and you'll be in the same boat as the late KQ9 project.

That's already been remade. Twice! As Leisure Suit Larry 1.

Actually, it's exactly the same game with all the same puzzles. The only thing Al added was the character, personality, and world of Larry. (I say "only" but that's no small part)

At least that's what Josh Mandel says.

Ok. I guess I misunderstood what was said. :) Forget the abovementioned suggestion. :p

I think the 8 was in the official title in some countries.

Still, it's not really '8' in our minds, of course.

Spokes.

i love qg3 the way it is :) it doesnt need to be remade. and this way off topic but kq3 is creepy. i cant play this game at night. lol. anyways if you've ever visited California, it's much easier to appreciate gold rush :)

by the way, thanks so much to the agdi team. I'm not really a gamer at all, but these are the games i played as a kid. there's a special place in my heart for them. and i have always thought it would be impossible for qg2 to come out in VGA. this is seriously a dream come true. hmm also on a side note. i think when i played kings quest 8, thats what killed video games for me lol. i guess the agdi games are all i will play now.

For me, a Conquests of Camelot remake would be epic. I love that game. It was my first Sierra adventure too.

AGDI probably made 'KQ4VGA', 'Colonel's Bequest VGA' or 'Conquest of Camelot VGA' while we weren't watching, and add that to Qfg2VGA as a little surprise.

It's not an option because of someone has the rights to it now, but Inherit the Earth was one of the best PC games ever made :D

Huh? Which rights? Only Vivendi Universal have the rights... and one or two people was given permission to remake (like AGDI), but I guess I misunderstood your post. Who's got the right for KQ4?

He was talking about Inherit the Earth, which if I'm correct in my assumption, is not a Vivendi title.

yes it is. but don't try to play it in dosbox. it doesn't get you very far that way. i bought the cd version, the voices make the game a million times better. It's far from a sierra game, but i've played this one through about 10 times and i still love it!

Eek. I see now. I completely misread that line after reading Spokey's post. :p Sorry.
